Academics
ASB's 2-Year PGPM follows the semester pattern. The first two semesters are dedicated to exposing participants to the basics of management. The remaining two semesters help students develop capabilities in specific areas in greater depth. During the 2 years, the students also undergo 8-weeks of summer internship.
The ASB Curriculum and Pedagogy rest on the following premises
- ASB can be innovative, since we face very few external constraints
- Core Courses are crucial since they equip participants with the right knowledge, skills and attitudes for a successful managerial career. Hence, the emphasis on core courses through larger contact hours.
- Electives are based on personal choice / motivation
These premises have led to the evolution of a curriculum structure and individual course content which uniquely addresses the issue of diversity in batch profile as well as diversity in individual preference.
